Uche Ignites Dominant Palace Win at Shelbourne.
Despite entering their maiden continental campaign, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Missing star figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a commanding win that all but secures them a spot in the Conference League playoffs.
A further victory in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS ought to be enough to seal straight passage to the knockout stages, especially following a previous stumble against Strasbourg.

This match offered a platform for several Palace's fringe talent to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, scoring for the second consecutive succession.

The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still scope for development in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
